 Coach Joe has coached the Lombard Park District Waves since June of 2008. He coached the team to a 1st place conference trophy in 2009 and collegiate coach of the year 1993. He has competed and coached swimming for over 20 years for all levels from club teams to Illinois Swimming Inc. Competing in marathons, triathlons and Ironman, Joe provides and plans training programs that maximize the performance of all types of athletes that includes training outside of the water included weights, stretching, relaxation techniques, diet suggestions, goal setting, performance evaluations and review.  Coach Matt has been involved with the Waves Swim Team for the past 15 years of which the past 3 years have been as a Waves coach. He graduates from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelors in Science in Marketing in 2011. Matt has been a competitive swimmer for the past 15 years, 4 of which have been at Eastern Illinois University. He will be co-coaching with Joe Bonham.
 Coach Corinne will be a Sophomore at Butler University this fall. She is studying Middle/Secondary Education with a focus in Spanish and English-Learned-Language. Coach Corinne swam for the Lombard Waves from 1998-ish to 2009, so about 10 years. In addition, she swam for B R Ryall for 7 years. Corinne has been working for the Lombard Park District for 6 years. Her older sister and her older brother were both swimmers AND Junior Swim Team coaches before her. She loves working with kids! She will be co-coaching with Coach Susan. |
